• Dalhousie University (Karen Foster) leads the SSHRC Common Ground Network, which is working to increase the accessibility and genuine use of social science and humanities expertise in the strategic pursuit of sustainable agricultural sectors and food systems to support a just transition to net-zero coast-to-coast-to-coast. Common Ground networks academic and community actors, including supporting part-time partnership coordination for FCN.
• Lakehead University (Charles Levkoe) leads the SSHRC Insight Grant identifying effective, innovative and collaborative approaches to food governance for building healthy, equitable, and sustainable food systems. FCN-RCN is a key community partner.
• Food Secure Canada was the network that brought communities together to identify the need for Food Communities Network, and has been a partner since.
• Just Food currently acts as administrative host for Food Communities Network.
